Missions is reaching out beyond the geographic borders of our valley. It is going where culture, language, food, and many other areas of life are different from what we are used to. The reason we go is more than just a mandate to go. Missions is in the DNA of our church. The last few years we have literally gone around the world by going to 17 different countries and 11 different states because of a desire to follow God wherever He leads us. Below are some places where we have gone, but there are more places God has for us to go. Every year God sends us places beyond our state. You might be a part of that plan. Pray about it. Find where God wants you to go in our state, our country, and our world.
This year, we are going to the Juarez area of Mexico to do eye tests and hand out eye glasses, Cape Fair, Missouri to help with VBS, campground minsitry, door-to-door ministry, and car repair, Orlando, Florida for BLUME, a mission conference for young ladies, and holding church services along the Amazon River in Brazil.
